“Whai Awa” is a unique development situated in the Mangawhai Village adjacent to the Harbour. Stage One physical works are now complete and the development embraces the values and characteristics of the Mangawhai Village and surrounding area. Whai Awa has been brought to life by a robust design and construction process utilising local contractors and resources, and from a design perspective “Whai Awa” has integrated important aspects of both Sustainability and Urban Design.
